Austin.
In my opinion, Austin isn't a place to live but to visit. Maybe you are visiting a friend at college, the capital building, or The Strand. No matter what you plan on doing in Austin, you are in for a good time. When shopping in Austin, you can choose from an array of shopping centers, malls, thrift stores, or small stands set up on the street. As the night approaches, the possibilities of having fun only increase. The clubs, bars, and house parties are among all of the "Austin Experience". Having too much of something is never good. But visiting Austin is a must.
Amy's Room.
My friend Amy has a strong love for cats, unfortunately I do not. Her bed is coated with cat hair; resembling a fur blanket almost. Due to the small size of her room and the enormous furniture to go with it, one would think that she'd have a bit of organization...or lack thereof. When entering Amy's room you have to slowly crack the door, wedge your foot in to kick all the clothes and objects out of the way, and then proceed to open it. After you are finally in her room, you have carefully tip toe around as to not break any of the random objects lying beneath the clothes. Amy's has a very messy room.
Anxiety.
There tends to be a place where people strongly dislike being. It could be the hospital, Grandma's house, the mall, or maybe even a party. My personality may come off as very bubbly and I may seem extraverted, and I am, but when it comes to large social crowds, I will avoid it at all costs. Throwing back a few beers is what I do best, but when my anxiety gets the best of me, I will not be going to that party that "everyone will be at". I strongly dislike large crowds of people that I don't know.
Caleb
There's always that guy at the club that thinks he is suave and looks so good on the dance floor. But what that guy doesn't know is that everyone is looking at him from a distance, and questioning whether he is having a seizure, if they should call the ambulance, or is he really attempting to dance? My friend Caleb is not "that guy" but the complete opposite. Caleb makes everyone want to clear the floor and take cover. He moves every part of his body so perfectly to the beat of the music. Caleb is one of the best dancers I know.

Walters.
People of all ages have been coming here to see their favorite bands play for years now. This isn't just a place to throw back a few, but it's a music venue as well. I have been going to Walters on Washington to see my friend's bands play and some of my favorite bands play for years now. When you walk throught those doors and see the merchandise tables set up, walk through a smokey haze, and have to yell to have a conversation with the person right next to you, you know you are in for a good night. Walters on Washington definitly is a hot spot if you are looking for a good time.
Element Gaming.
When playing video games, most people like to sit at home and enjoy themselves without any disturbance. Not me, I love to be in a room full of gamers, this way I know I'm not alone. One gaming place inparticular is the one I prefer to go to and it's called Element Gaming. Element Gaming gives you the gaming feel. The room is full of camoflauge netting, the lights are dimmed, and every few seconds you will hear gamers yelling at eachother across the room. Why would anyone want to go anywhere else to game? Element Gaming makes you feel like you are right where you are supposed to be when you're gaming.
Mom.
After my parents got divorced, I never thought going to "moms" would feel right. The idea of going to two houses was a very new, yet awkward approach for me. I definitly proved myself wrong on this one. After going to my moms house, I felt like I was right at home again. Everytime I walked in the house, I smelt the most delicious, home-cooked meals and a huge grin would come across my face. And to know that I was going to sit down around a table and eat a wonderful dinner with my mom made it all better. Going to moms house makes me feel right at home again.
Room.
Everyone has their comfort zone; a place where they can go to just relax and get away from all the worries that come with life. It could be your favorite chair, your bed, your closet or to be more general, your home. My comfort zone is my room. Whenever I feel like I am carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders, I walk to my room and plop down on my bed. Sometimes I'll put some music on and just forget about work, school, arguments...the things that stress me out. When I'm in my room, there is no place I'd rather be. My room is my comfort zone.

Potatoe Patch.
If you have never been to The Potatoe Patch, you are missing out. It is a cute and cozy place and makes you feel right at home. From their throwed-rolls to their pass arounds, I don't know what people come for more. The Potatoe Patch is known for its friendly service and interesting decorations throughout the whole resturaunt. It's not only a place to sit down and eat but to be enertained as well. The Potatoe Patch is "more than great country cookin'--it's a unique dining experience" as well.

Porcelain Musical.
When the day comes that a little girl recieves a family tradition, she never feels more proud then at that moment. It was my turn to recieve something and when my Grandmother explained the importance of the item she was giving to me, I never felt more honored. As my Grandma handed me the box which contained the item she held dear, the biggest grin swept across my face. Within the box was a porcelain figurine and when you twisted it, it played such a beautiful melody. Knowing how important the porcelain figurine was to my grandma, made me cherish it more then I ever would.
Red Sox.
The feeling you get when you know you have tickets to the Red Sox game at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts is an unbelievable feeling. The excitment that builds up when you think of walking in the parking lot towards the Fenway Park entrance is phenomenal. When you hear the pre-game advertisements over the loud speaker it makes you want to join the crowd and start cheering. You have to remember not to let your imagination get the best of you. You are only holding the ticket in your hand, you aren't there yet.

Scarf.
Scarfs are generally used to keep warm during cold weather or to look cute. But have you ever heard of a scarf that can be used as a belt, head wrap, and even turned into a shirt? I never knew there was such a thing, until I purchased a seafoam green one at a clothing store called American Aparell. A scarf that serves multiple purposes really comes in handy. Maybe I'm having a bad hair day, want to wear a tank top, or need a belt to go with my outfit. I now have all this in one. This seafoam green scarf was among one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Balloons.
Among all the uses balloons may have, the most popular uses for balloons are to decorate, celebrate, and have water balloon fights. If you are throwing a birthday party, you have to include balloons. Balloons are decorative and fun to play with! Whether you lay them on the ground or hang them up with streamers, balloons are a necessity at a party. But if you want to have alot of fun with balloons, fill ALOT of balloons up with water and throw them at your friends. Balloons serve many uses and ways of entertainment.
Chris Carrabba.
One day while at IKEA, I came across these brightly painted picture frames. The walls in my room are teal, so I bought an orange one to contrast the colors of my wall. I was so happy with my purchase but I didn't know what I wanted to put inside of the picture frame. When I came across the painting my friend made of Chris Carrabba, the most handsome, amazing singer ever, I knew that it would be perfect! So above my bed, within the frame is a painting of the most amazing vocalist ever.
Exhibit.
Everyone that likes art, has a favorite artist. I found out who my favorite artist is the day I visited the art museum. While at the art museum, I came across this one exhibit by an artist named Damien Hirst that interested me the most out of all of them. It was called "The End Game". The artist had a display of all medical tools and items that are used in preparation for a surgery along with two skeletons. With this he portrayed how surgery can be the beginning of your life or the end. In my opinion, this is one of the most amazing exhibits I've ever seen.
Coffee.
The dictionary defintion for addiction is "the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma." Now, I don't think my case goes as far to say it's a "trauma", nor is it narcotics. I am addicted to coffee! I love the smell of it, the taste of it, and I even love how the coffee mug warms up my hands on a cold day. Above all, coffee is my worst addiction.
